Steve Perry has been singing since he was 6. I can remember dancing on the countertop at home and singing to "Long Tall Glasses" by Leo Sayer. While that isn't interesting to many, it's a great memory of mine.
I have a beautiful wife and daughter. They are the absolute love of my life and they will always come first. My music is very important to me and I work on songwriting when I can and have written songs for my wife and daughter.
My musical influences are broad and include many, many artists. At the top of my list are: Peter Cetera, Billy Joel, Bobby Caldwell, Toto, Michael W. Smith, Styx, and Chicago just to name a few.
I've been in a band since the early 90's, but left for a few years to pursue a life other than a rock star. I have a Bachelor's and Master's degreefrom BGSU and I'm a teacher by day.
